About the Author
Linda Seligman was a professor emerita of counseling and development at George Mason University. She authored fifteen books and was named Counselor Educator of the Year and Researcher of the Year by the American Mental Health Counselors Association. She died in 2007.
Lourie W. Reichenberg is a licensed professional counselor in private practice in Falls Church, Virginia, where she also provides clinical supervision. She is currently at work on her fourth book.

Excellent Resource!

This book is well written and easy to read. I am a 5 year MSW social worker and just purchased this book. It has given me a better understanding of the DSM-IV-TR and is an invaluable professional resource. It will be exceptionally helpful as I prepare to study for my LCSW exam. This book is worth every cent!

Very useful guide for LMFT's

I highly recommend this guide to my students/ interns. It helps you understand the most appropriate treatments and interventions for the most common diagnoses that a Marriage and Family Therapist typically encounters. This is a great adjunct resource to the DSM.
